That same power he rebuked helped aid in his realization and downfall. About 100 year quest, well, I dare you to think of an action anime WITHOUT any haters or naysayers about the characters, powers, arc pacing, and story as a whole. Fairy Tail Ending reactions when? You have two OVAs left, Natsu vs Mavis & Fairies Christmas. Jerza's number 1 shipper is Lucy. And yes, Mashima hit us with that Gale baby bomb on the final (at the time) episode and chapter. 100 year quest is filled with all of the things any anime has/ ups, downs, long awaited conclusions, and then some. But it’s always worth it. Well, except for that one chapter. My friend who got me into the series, but isn’t passionate like I am was straight loss for words, system processing and rebooting when I told him about it. You’ll get there…eventually

Mashima is good at circling around, and just because the self-proclaimed Dragon King is gone, doesn't mean it's the end. I'm not saying we will, I'm just saying the story isn't over, so who knows?

I don't know, man, if I remember right, Mashima was already focused on Eden Zero when FT was finishing up. Maybe he left it open to the viewer's interpretation on purpose? Either way, this part of the story is over, and the next chapter is just bonkers, in a good way LMAO. The 100 Year Quest is the same quest Gildarts failed because of Achnologia, and that's all I'm going to say until July :)

As for how the magic stopped Achnologia, your guess is as good as mine LMAO. IMO, 100 Years Quest is better than FT. Hopefully the anime captures the manga correctly. It's awesome, and you are going to love it. Please tell me you will go back and re-watch all the opens, and maybe even watch the endings, because 95% are bangers, and the animations are fun. You need to see why we all said DON'T WATCH SPOILERS haha. 100 Years Quest in less than two months, the fandom is waiting for the 7/7 announcement lmao. No official date yet, but there is some speculation on how perfect it would be if it premiered on 7/7 LOL.

Love this show and will always come back to it, the way we bond with the characters is genuinely the point that makes you LOVE the show. yeah it has flaws, but I feel so happy seeing these characters on the screen.
