Soul society is where the series really started to heat up, but it’s the following canon arc and the tybw that really gets fired up. So Chad is okay with a telling parakeet, but not a cat? Those who know, Know. Ichigo’s dad is very goofy, but trust me, books that you simply judge by covers are no fun. An abundance of characters are coming your way with the Soul Society arc. Some you’ll hate, some you’ll love, some will have you going wtf often and some you’ll definitely be simping for. About Chad and Orihime, realistically, Ichigo & Uruyu alone won’t do very much. Plus, having a healer on your side, especially with such a raw one like Orihime and in a fierce battle anime is always a good idea

Also bleach does a good job at hiding the real plot behind the obvious plot . So keep that in mind as you watch OG bleach especially soul society arc and the following one
