LMAO I forgot Zeref dropped that last line. IMO this is one of the most important episodes of the series. The ethernano explanation, how the originals found their magic, and...that magic, in fact, does get stronger the stronger a person's feelings are. People bash on 'the power of feelings', but it's LITERALLY canon. It isn't just some ass pull to explain why characters get stronger, it is the basis for magic in the universe. It's how Gray was able to defeat Rufus, it is how Natsu gets better the stronger his opponent, it's how Erza is...Erza. Even when Sting thought he lost Lector, Minerva realized he got stronger thanks to his 'feelings' (Sorry, just had to get one Minerva in there for ya LOL). Oh, and there's the little fact that without Zeref, Fairy Tail may never have existed...
