2023-12-24 23:14:49 +0000 UTCIt's not explained very well in the anime. As you may remember, Subarus gate is damaged and needs time to heal. The best healer in the kingdom, Felix, also called Felis, told him not to use any magic until it was fully healed. The scene where he thanked his shamac for working was quite literally showing his gate breaking apart. The gate handles all the mana related stuff from accumulating it to discharging it.
