holw. cow. This show has me shaking! This was DARK! I knew we'd have to deal with monsters within our camp but I wasn't expecting this...

I don't think it's a world for kids as we know it to grow up. But i also don't think that means let him die. For me it means you need to re-think what being a kid means. Carl can't be carefree and live for fun. He has to learn how to survive and keep himself and others around him safe. It's brutal but doable

I love the discussion with Rick and Lori on whether children should grow up in this world. For Me personally, I agree with Lori. At this point, the group doesn't have a safe place to call home and they risk starvation, being torn apart by Walkers, or watching your family/friends die. But I can see Rick's point of view. Where people can grow up and adapt to this new world. People can try to be safe and be prepared for the dangers.

I love this show with its moral dilemmas. While most people don't agree with what Shane did. I'm in camp that Shane and Otis would of both died, and therefore Carl dying. With Shane being injured and Otis getting tired, I believed they wouldn't have been able to out run the horde. But I can see the other side where some people can argue that maybe both could of made it. We saw where Shane offered to sacrifice himself first and Otis refused, really only leaving Shane, in his mind, with one option. Shane will do anything to save Carl and Lori. So, while it's in character for what Shane did. It will always be up for debate on whether it was the right choice.
