OOOF sorry this got really long. I am a lil drunk and love talking about Tensura lol TECHNICALLY all Yuuki did was ask Rimuru to investigate, but he knew Rimuru would help out cuz of who he is haha Rimuru actually is officially a B+ ranked adventurer! He signed up and took the test in Blumund on his way to Engrassia which they skipped in S1. That's how Fuze prepared an ID for him, it was an adventurer's ID. He defeated a Lesser Demon to earn this rank, and that is where he learned the magic to summon demons which he used to summon Beretta and Diablo! Yeah I saw you trying to figure out the power-scaling at this point in time. We have to remember that this is just a matter of days before he fights Hinata. And he is able to survive her surprise attack and fight well against her while under the strain of her Holy Field. The Holy Field that was used on Rimuru is much more powerful than the Prison Field that surrounded Tempest during the Falmuth attack, Great Sage tells us this. And we saw how much it weakened the monsters there because we saw how easily they defeated the Otherworlders once outside of the Prison Field. During this OVA (and during his fight with Hinata) Rimuru is more closely at the combat ability of a low level True Demon Lord. He is only a Demon Lord Seed currently, but he punches well above his weight class in combat thanks to his multiple OP Unique skills, experience fighting more powerful opponents, and quality training from Hakurou and sparring with Milim. We see in S3 that Hinata is able to defeat both Roy and Louis (both Demon Lord Seed level) at the same time and that is a weaker version of Hinata than Rimuru faced because it was like 8 years ago and before she underwent the Trial of the Seven Luminaries. He would definitely be able to defeat two Archdemons at the same time, but this time the plot did not dictate that he needed to! Luminus is more powerful than Violet while in the material world at this point. When Primordials manifest like Violet did here without receiving a name and evolving further, they are limited to the magicule count of a high level Archdemon. Now obviously, Primordials are much more experienced and skilled than your average Archdemon, but they are still very limited and not on the level of Luminus in this state. They are relatively equal in the short term, but without a true body of their own and no name, the Primordials will not last long. Neither of them were really trying in their fight, it was just a bit of play as they say. I believe the 'Mad King' that Luminus mentions is Dagruel (the Giant Demon Lord). He resides in the Barren Lands and, as they say in the OVA, this kingdom is part of the line of defense for Humanity against the forces from the Barren Lands. Although, I have not seen that nickname for him before but he is known as the Wicked God at times in the LN so that has a similar meaning to Mad King I suppose. I am a LN reader and I am not sure what the king meant when he called Luminus the 'guardian of the four...' lol I kinda want to see if I can go find it but I don't know if it matters much and I might be going on a wild goose chase
