Just heads up, yojo senki (the actual name of the show) can be translated as: The Military Chronicles of a Little Girl. I also love how Tanya's mind works, theres no doubt she is a genius, and was very well read in her previous life, i never read the source material but I wonder if she really into german culture growing up in her past life (in Japan theres allot of obsession for German culture, espically around ww2, you can see it allot in anime, like with Ainz in overlord basing Pandoras Actor off german officer of ww2) Tanya ultimatly is a pragmatist just trying to survive in a comfortable position, using all the tools she has, I wouldnt consider her sadistic, at the very start she mentioned how bad war is and how its such a waste, but I dont think she really feels for anyone around her, a psychopath perhaps. She does get in her own way allot though, shes too good for her own good.
