Yeah in a sense Claire is similar to Shadow Garden members, but obviously not as OP as the Seven Shades since she's a Human & thus the amount of Diablos cells contained in her blood is too diluted compared to less diluted races like Elves & therianthropes (it helps that Therianthropes exclusively breed based on strength, so the blood purity would remain as pure as possible, especially since they tend to use the harem approach on reproduction, w/ the Alpha of the pack fucking all the bitches essentially. Incidentally this is why Delta is pro-harem stance in regards to Shadow, because dude's giga chad OP)

2023-10-14 23:39:10 +0000 UTCIn the first season, the episode where Claire gets kidnapped the guy that was talking to her in the cell mentions her possession. "I've heard of your brother, when you showed signs of possession, he's the one that healed you, right?" She denies it, but he says he's going to need to learn more about her brother anyway. That was what set her off and made her break the chain and swing at him. The show dialog was letting us the viewers know that Claire was possessed, but Cid/Shadow already cured her. This conversation is letting us know, she doesn't know that she was cured. She's been waiting for that sword of doom to drop on her head, and she's trying to put herself in the best position she can, to boost Cid as high as she can before she "passes". I think she sees Cid as the only legacy she has time to leave behind. She doesn't know when that possession might come back and ruin her life, so she's not let herself think about her own future. It's all about the future she can create for Cid, with the time she has.
