July Update (7k+ words added, finished transition)

It was split up (2/3rds is what you got of what i have in total) so that the update ends at a natural place, and so that I can have an easier time getting back to a proper working writing schedule with words already written for the next update.

As stated before, the emergency trip to Mexico put a dent in this update cycle's development time (it added 2 weeks dammit). But that was an emergency, something that isn't a regular occurrence.

All I can do is make up for it with consistent updates from now on, especially now that I've finished the foundation for the Upbringing Arc.

This means that the txt file that begins the three routes is "finished" and that you can save there without fear. (at least you SHOULD be able to lmfao)

It was quite a tricky stretch of words, especially since I had to be careful to not reveal too much or overwhelm you with new names, history, and relevant in-world events. Plus, it's really hard to focus on the transition part of the story when you REALLY want to get to the action and show off your kinetic writing skills lol.

My goal with the transition phase is to slowly ease you guys with each route's cast of characters and showcase how the Champion has become part of this world. They already know these characters, but it'll be up for you to decide how your Champion's relationship with these people are.

I'm also considering having live streams of my writing sessions, letting yall see how I work. It'll be done either through Discord or Patreon, though ill have to research a bit more on how Patreon's live event tool is like first.

For now, i'm updating everything but Chapter 1, so that your save files didnt break (hopefully) and you can save your game in the foundation txt file, meaning the NEXT update will include the touched up on Chapter 1 (that had that funny line of the church condoning slavery lololol)
