Please excuse the short break since the last map. In return, I will be making maps based on suggestions. You can already send suggestions here. Tomorrow I'll post on Reddit to get as many ideas as possible. But your suggestions here have the advantage, especially at the beginning, that they will be the first ones I can think about.
Rules:
You write your suggestions in the comments and I choose the ones I like the most and which I can best implement. I will then create the map and respond to your comment.
Don't exaggerate. I can create encounters and dungeons but not villages, cities or megadungeons.
I only have assets for fantasy and nature stuff. If you want to see what I can do, you can check out my post history or patreon.
I'll do this as long as I enjoy it and have energy and I'll write here after the challenge is over.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow and am excited to hear your suggestions :)

In the middle of the room is a round table with seven chairs, and hanging over the table is a giant glistening crystal. Stone statues stand in silent watch from the four corners of the room, and a crimson throne adorned with a ram skull sits against one of the walls.

2024-12-07 16:36:12 +0000 UTCI'd love to see more 5-10 room dungeons where a monster theme or biome theme could be applied. For example a basic library layout (5-10 rooms) could be themed different ways. Maybe it's the library of a devil with reddish lighting, arcane symbols on the various desks and tables. The same layout could be use, but the theme could be an ruined library, with cobwebs, spiderholes, etc. It could also be simply be a corrupt governments library with more neutral lighting. The library could have been sunk into the swamp, have watery area, moss, and vines. Another example would be a natural cave. If it's the lair of an owlbear, maybe it has a nest, some areas with some areas of carnage. It could also have a winter theme applied and be the cave of a yeti; crates & sleeping areas, it's now a bandit cave. Dungeon layouts with good depth, interesting paths, or a solid "flow" with just changes to the themes/set dressing tend to be very useful.
