Quick Encounter Ideas:

Path through ruins [30x50]

The worn stones of the ruins are filled with ancient magic and many of the piles have become various large stone golems. They are mostly sleeping and chewing moss, but are also curious, which could be misinterpreted if a two-meter-high pile of stones rushes towards you.
On the tower of the ruins, a bard sings his music. Bees from all over the area rush to him and perform their dance. When the bard notices that the heroes are here too, he invites them to join in the music. If they join in, many bees will settle on them and give their clothes and objects honey.
In the pools lie bloated, heavily deformed corpses, swarmed with flies. If you try to pull them out, you will see that roots are holding them in the pool. It is the fruit of a carnivorous plant, which uses it to attract carnivores or heroes and then surprise them.

A suspension bridge over a deep forest [25x40]

When the heroes cross the bridge, a group of fat orc mercenaries appear on the other side who also want to cross the bridge. They just strut along and expect the heroes to go back to make room for them
A small troll is staggering on the bridge. He is a beginner bridge troll, he built it himself but has grown faster than it can really stand. Now he is staggering with the bridge and demands his toll with a trembling voice
On both sides of the bridge there is a bunch of tense soldiers with bows. There is war here but no one is stupid enough to advance over this position. Neutral journey ends are supposedly protected from both sides
When heroes are in the middle of the bridge, an automated voice sounds. The journey up to here was free but in order to continue to maintain the service, a subscription is now required. Otherwise the bridge will be unanchored

Cliff encounter [40x30]

Our heroes hear screams coming from this direction. When they appear here, they see young men and women throwing themselves off the cliff. But soon they happily emerge and spread their wings. They are nearby villagers who suffer from an animal curse and are hiding it. But they like their abilities. But what do they do when the heroes discover another observer or a mob with pitchforks appears?
A sharp musky smell and a deep hum lure the heroes here. A fat, huge bear is sleeping right on the cliff, having taken over a beehive. A fearless young man is currently attaching sticks under the bear with the aim of using leverage to send it over the abyss.

Path encounter through nature [30x40]

Mercenaries come towards the heroes carrying a cage full of nobles. When asked about this, the mercenaries show a dirty and barely legible letter in which they claim that the nobles were arrested on royal orders. The nobles in the cage speak of a mere kidnapping and offer a lot of money for their release
An army is marching past our heroes here. Our heroes are told to make way and watch the endless line of soldiers. Then a officer tries to take their food or weapons as a service to the war
Goblins are hidden under the grass. At a signal, they rise with their pieces of grass on their backs and attack
In the middle of the path lies a griffin, sleeping. Traders in carts want to move on, but don't dare to do anything
Bridge high above a river [30x40]
An unconscious body floats along in the river below. It is followed by fish monsters that want to nibble on it
Two knights block the bridge because they are currently fighting a duel to the death. Their squires stand next to it and bet on the winner
Anyone who walks on the bridge may smell a powerful odor of decay. A search reveals that a huge conch is hanging under the bridge, which was stretched out of skin and tendons. A powerful monster is developing inside it. Can it still be killed safely?
The bridge is a mimic...
