A small dungeon for all plant lovers :)

Deep in the earth there is a seed that is just waiting to awaken. When it senses a certain energy or a ritual is performed, this dungeon begins to grow. The dungeon is not equipped with a lot of corners and hiding places, but its phased nature still allows for many surprises. I would suggest having the heroes complete various tasks within the dungeon to promote the blossoming. If they then go back and forth several times, various dangers can grow in places that have already been explored and are perceived as safe.

Gameplay ideas for using the dungeon and its growth phases:

1. The seed must be activated. In the middle of the room you can place an actual seed or core to symbolize it and the heroes are given the task of cracking it. But it is extremely hard and the heroes should be creative in putting as much energy as possible onto a small object. (A solution is not provided. If the players have a cool idea, I would just let them go through.) If this succeeds, the first corridors of the dungeon begin to grow.

2. Water is now needed. This is found in the earth of the corridors in the form of water elementals. The heroes must get these out of the ground and pour out their lifeblood. If this succeeds, the dungeon continues to grow and finds its own water sources. There the heroes can drink and receive a buff.

3. When they return to the main room, our heroes see that the dungeon is infested with mold. A toxic environment has been created and our heroes must defeat the environmental threat before the mold completely covers the dungeon and them. (Drying, burning and anti-mold chemicals are a good option)

4. The first leaves have grown and now the dungeon needs light. On the one hand, they can create light themselves. On the other hand, incredibly fast light creatures keep zipping through the dungeon. Catching them and feeding them to the leaves is the next task. (How do you catch something that is incredibly fast and almost impossible to touch?)

5. More leaves have grown and the dungeon is almost finished growing. Now our heroes have to complete all of the previous challenges at the same time (capture light, fight mold and collect water from the roots). At the same time, parasitic insects are coming out of the walls and threatening to devour the greenery. Everything has to be solved at the same time (luckily, there are already solutions for the first three problems, you just have to apply them again under great pressure).

6. The flowers are ready. Here you can now set the finale and give the heroes a big reward in terms of stats or skills. Alternatively, you can have a big boss fight beforehand. For example, a large insect monster or a powerful grazing sheep!
