Hey, two new maps here. A water temple for slippery adventures or relaxation vacation.   There is also a small map of a monkey house, which I quickly put together for my own campaign. You have to imagine that the enclosure is surrounded by a large accessible wall. To do this, you have to think of a glass dome to prevent the monkeys from breaking out.


Quest idea for the Temple of Water

Bloodbending: Our heroes are tasked with freeing this temple from a powerful water elemental. The problem is that it is so powerful that it can also move into people's blood and control them. He will use the priests of the temple against intruders, but they are not to be killed as much as possible (and it is questionable whether their control would even end with theit death when the Elemental's controls them until they have lost a large portion of their blood). Our heroes also have to arm themselves against being controlled. Various approaches are conceivable here:

- The heroes could completely dehydrate themselves in order to have as little water in them as possible. Add perhaps other liquids such as alcohol instead and the elemental will find it more difficult to take over.

- The heroes could get their own weak elementals, which they voluntarily let into their bodies. These are intended to protect them, but can also move individual parts of the heroes' bodies if they want.

- They could turn their own bodies into a trap. With a Lava Heart Amulet, a person is able to boil their own blood, cast fire attacks, and survive. It takes life force to use this, but it evaporates a water elemental in one even more.


Quest idea for the monkey house

I used it myself in a one-shot in which my players played a group of captured monkeys. Experiments have been carried out on them and they have gained intelligence. Here in the monkey house they had an orangutan teacher who trained them and encouraged them to escape.

Opportunities to escape:

- Escape tunnel through the floor or wall

- An iron grate at the bottom of the water basin

- Destroying the glass dome

- Hide in the main area at night when all the monkeys are supposed to be in the sleeping chamber. Then the escape when the guards come in to clean it up.


After the escape, they had a few more adventures and in the end fought against a special tactics unit in the jungle only to find out that their entire escape was a production by humans to show the shareholders that they are now able to breed monkeys, which can be released in war zones.

All in all, it was great one-shot with elements of Planet of the Apes, Jurassic Park and Resident Evil :)
