It took forever to put this gigantic map together and I hope the file sizes aren't too big (I cut the map into four parts for the 10mb version). The castle itself is based on the real Caernarfon Castle in Wales with its town and fortifications.

Possible quest for this map: A dream of anhilation
Many thousands of years ago, a terrible decisive battle took place here between two long-forgotten powers. At first glance it appears to be a majestic ruin, but long forgotten and abandoned, these ruins still exude an air of madness and destruction. Creatures that find their way here by chance are haunted in their dreams. There they are slowly broken until both mind and body become that of monsters. Our heroes may have had a lot to do with monsters in the campaign so far and can now finally track down the origin of these plagues. But as they wander through the ruins during the day, they don't seem to notice much. But when they lie down and wake up in their dreams, they find themselves in an aura of evil, which is in the process of carrying out a centuries-long ritual of reawakening. The souls of dead monsters flock in and attempt to burn themselves in the flames of hell. Can our heroes stop them? It doesn't take many souls to finish a bigger part of the ritual and our heroes must now take action. After a certain number of souls, a boss spawns in the fire circle and only an expulsion from all corners of the pentagram can stop the ritual.
Problem 1: It should only be slowly hinted at that the heroes are in a dream. But once they figure it out, they can make Wisdom rolls on Lucid Dreaming and devise powerful advantages. But be careful, the enemy can do this too.
Problem 2: During their dream mission, our heroes keep hearing background noises. These are the sounds of a Gollum-like person or creature walking back and forth between the sleeping heroes in the camp and thinking about how best to murder them. Now one or more heroes must somehow wake themselves up and fight in the real world. But it's not easy to wake up and some heroes have to continue taking part in the fight in their dreams to prevent the ritual. And then once the awake heroes have defeated the intruder, they have to somehow get themselves back to sleep very quickly. Do they have a bunch of sleeping pills with them, a really good meditation technique or does the barbarian have to hit the other person and then himself pretty hard on the head with a club until the lights go out?
