My ideas for the nature dungeon and a quest about the price of civilization

A wide path cuts through the rock and leads to a lair with gold and large bones. Narrow passages run through the rock. I built it as the lair of a sick green dragon, whose fumes poison the surface with massive plant growth. He must be stopped, otherwise his natural aura will suffocate the surrounding civilization.

Traces on the main path show that the dragon goes in and out here and squeezes through the tunnel. But in addition to the dragon, there are also smaller nature-loving creatures living here who want to protect him.

- The inhabitants of the dungeon: They are dryad-like creatures who are one with nature. They fight with short obsidian blades and poisoned blowpipes. They will hide from the side passages and attack any intruders on the main path. If you want to fight them, you have to hunt them in the narrow tunnels.

- The breath of the dragon: A magical wind blows through the main tunnel, which is permeated with the dragon's exhalations. In the narrow corridors, on the other hand, the air doesn't flow as well (a reason to send your heroes into the narrow corridors). The breath becomes stronger in its effects over time. Anyone who wears clothing or equipment made from plant parts will experience how shoots suddenly sprout from them. The growth then becomes faster and faster and the shoots try to pin heroes down. (For example, roots could sprout from the pants of the heroes who are trying to pin them to the ground). Finally, spores from the air have settled on our heroes' skin, which then use roots to burrow into their bodies and slowly suck them out as living fertilizer and kill them.

- The dragon of overflowing nature: His bodily fluids are out of balance, so that his power as a nature-giving being overflows and everything around him feels this. In battle he is a powerful opponent who suffocates his enemies with life. His breath heals his enemies and fills them with a sense of life, but the more additional life they carry within themselves, the more they grow together with their companions and their surroundings and thus lose their individuality. This dragon requires toxic anti-life behavior (and perhaps some strong pesticides) to combat. The heroes may even have to hurt each other to avoid being overwhelmed by nature and thus reducing the dragon's healing.

The dragon itself is covered in biomes (trees, bushes, sand, magical pools and moors, watering holes with reefs and more). Destroying these and disrupting the dragon's ecosystem is the path to victory.

If the dragon dies, the reward is great; in addition to his hoard, the dying plants reveal gigantic natural resources that will make the heroes and the surrounding cities rich. However, this may come at a high price in the future...

I wish you a lot of fun with the map and the adventure! :)
