Just a small snow map as an addition to the Winter Encounter Box and to start the new month :)

A possible quest

Our heroes have to winter in the region here and its getting colder. Misery and desperation are spreading.

When the winter is particularly bad and all hope is lost, the residents of the region practice a special ritual here. Four weeks in a row, a tree is burned down and an entity is worshiped here. The trees burn brightly and for weeks. Our heroes are given the task of protecting and repelling the ritual from evil spirits.

On the final day of the ritual, a particularly large number of spirits are on their way here and a desperate fight in the snow and cold begins. Meanwhile, the villagers prepare the final stage of the ritual. The human sacrifices.

Now the entity also shows up and it is a powerful demon of winter (the other spirits were attracted by its strong aura). He is responsible for the terrible winter, but the human sacrifices will make him merciful and er will bring about an early harvest.

Will our heroes allow the ritual to go through, or will they attempt to confront and defeat the powerful demon, thereby ridding the region of its evil influence forever? If they attack and fail, an entire landscape will perish in an eternal winter!
