Deep in the forest, this nest is so inaccessible and hidden by undergrowth that the most likely entry is through a cave system that ultimately leads our heroes to the queen so they can die a sweet death here.

The Spider Queen's Behavior in Combat

- The queen operates from the ceiling and uses the walls and strings extensively to gain a mobility and height advantage.

- Her spawn can rush out of the holes in the floor or from the ceiling for support at any time. Her smaller spiders deal less damage, but are perfectly equipped with poisons and webs to immobilize, or at least slow, their mother's victims.

- The interaction of queen and brood aims to separate the group as much as possible, to slow it down and to encircle victims with quick maneuvers and then to disappear again when the hero gets help. Also, the spiders can come down from the ceiling with combined power, pull up a victim and hurl it to an isolated location for easier killing.

- With the help of the poison and the cobwebs, our heroes will be slowed down more and more during the fight until they can hardly move. Their hands then begin to stick together, their quivers are full of webs, and the poison continues to paralyze them. Which tactics will your player use to stop the cunning spider queen?
