I just received an email from Patreon saying that maybe the issues that happened last month with the payments not going through MIGHT happen again. There's not much I can do besides informing you ๐ข If you have the option, please switch to PayPal (instead of using your credit card), this way you can avoid these "bank fraud" or fees issues.
And here's what they informed on their e-mail:
"If your patrons are having any trouble, hereโs what they can do:
- If their bank suspects that the Patreon payment is fraudulent, a patron can call up their bank to confirm the payment is theirs and genuine.
- If their payment failed, they can follow these steps or switch to adifferent payment method.
- If they are seeing an international processing fee, they can switch their pledge to a different bank that doesnโt charge for international payments.
- They can reach out to the Patreon support team to get account specific help"
