Had an unexpected run-in with the Cat Witch, the Society's resident feline enchantress. She had come to us not a week ago to make her monthly request. This time around she had asked us for a Grimoire so that she might advance her magical abilities further. The request was simple enough, as an ex-Hellmate, we have several abandoned spellbooks from our previous followers laying about. However... this day we caught sight of the Cat Witch, sitting in a high window sill, flipping through the book and smiling a mischievous smile. She looked different, there was a strange heaviness to the air as she turned her slitted eyes towards us. With a purr she stood and disappeared like a shadow...
While we are happy the witch is finding success in her craft, we do admit that we are curious if perhaps we had given the girl the wrong Grimoire... perhaps one too advanced for her to handle... or worse yet, too advanced for us to contain...
