Dark Woods Expansion for Corruption Conquest

Plunge into the dark and steamy depths of the Dark Woods.  Find the scattered and isolated communities of the Faithful scratching out a meagre existence in the weird and dangerous forest... and corrupt them for the forces of sexiness!

This expansion also includes a significant overhaul of game mechanics.  Instead of "milking" minions for vim, you can organize orgies for your minions and harvest the vim produced.  You can also discard rituals and spells for vim.  The frequency of townie dislikes is much lower (especially at lower levels), which makes more cards applicable more of the time.  More vim and more available plays means the game plays a lot faster with a lot more play options every turn.

There's also a slightly-less-obvious but still very important optimization of the SVG rendering engine, reducing the "dropped cards" and "invisible cards" issues that would sometimes crop up.  This appears to be an issue with how browsers render SVGs and how many animation tags they'll put up with.  I've reduced the number of tags (not animations), and things run a lot smoother!

- bolster now allows each townie to bolster only one other card, whichever is in the worst condition and within range (this is not a huge functional difference but is a lot less clutter on the screen)

- bonus vim on seduce is equal to liked part size, not just 1

- the "milk" mechanic has been replaced with a "discard to fuck" mechanic where you pile up cards in an orgy.  Each card is worth one vim, plus bonus vim for liked parts.

- townies are more likely to not have any dislikes (especially in early levels)

- community shattered victory triggers when no townies are in range of another townie

- neglected townies are now marked by white bumpy border

- discarded cards are now in their own group in the SVG

- Phanneigh townies all have likes for tits, muscles, or ass

- Erotic Dreams and Public Orgy have been nerfed

Aw thanks for the kind words! So the towns aren't timed or anything because this is intended as a super chill game. I'm more interested in it as a puzzle to take apart than a challenge to disassemble within a time limit. That said, I could add a challenge mode, much like the port city's "embassies" mode. Might be a fun little addition! Upgradable cards is certainly a thing I might pursue, either alongside or in addition to the cards that unlock for each town. I'll have to think on that. And yeah, the plot could go full-blown VN! I'm not sure I've got the bandwidth to do that, though. But it's always lurking in the back of my mind.

Good to see that you keep improving it, I love this game. A few suggestions: To give player a real challenge, it would make sense if the game had limited amount of turns per town invasion. So, that way you'd really need to think a lot to make optimal steps. Would be cool, if a player could choose one of a few cards after each town and maybe improve that card over time. Like, among the corrupted villagers you select one, and then choose to improve him/her later more, or get a different card instead. Could be nice to get artifacts with different effects. Passive buffs, active buffs, extra-vision (hints) effects, etc. And, well, the plot could be presented as a small VN or illustrated story, to make it even more involving.
