Teayeph VI Art Upgrade!
Added 2021-04-30 22:49:51 +0000 UTCAt long last, the Teayeph VI art upgrade is now live. The various buildings of the game all look different now, and some of them even have little cutesy animations!
Crewmembers are also more talkative, especially when they flirt on channel and either hook up or get shot down. They'll also complain (ie warn you) when their happiness has dropped low enough that you are at risk of losing them. How do you fix that, you ask? Well, now you can adjust their duty shifts and give them some time off. What do they do with their time off, you ask? Well, they can find leisure: either sitting around the cookfire, at the all-new building the Bunkhouse, or at one of the stunning natural Vistas.
And last and almost certainly least, the map generation has been tweaked to accommodate upcoming expansions that will introduce the Master and the Broodmother. New games will have a couple interesting features to find out in the boondocks.
I'm really excited to release this expansion because, while it's a little light on the game play changes, the graphical upgrade makes a big difference for me. Little buildings! A sense of accomplishment in building different stuff instead of getting yet another placeholder shack!
I'd love to hear what you think and especially if you encounter any bugs that crept into the code.
Happy surviving, pervs!

Teayeph VI Changelog 0.1.3
Building Graphics
A truckload of new art, for Cistern, Creamery, Electronics Station, Farm, Fence, Furnace, Lumbermill, Lumberyard, Milking Stall, Paddy, Quarry, Refinery, Shower, Smelter, Smokehouse, Solar Boiler, Wash Tub, Waspiary, Water Pump, and Work Bench!
Duty Shifts
Crewmembers each have a duty shift defining when they work
Click on their schedule (above their stats) to modify it
Off-duty crew seek out buildings with leisure value to regain happiness
New Building: Bunkhouse
A place where crewmembers can spend their off-duty hours.
Natural Feature: Vista
A few natural vistas are scattered throughout the map. These scenic vantage points provide leisure to off duty crewmembers.
This natural feature takes up a space that might be filled by a building and cannot be demolished.
Unhappy Messaging
Crewmembers will complain when their happiness is getting low.
Under the Hood
Map generation creates a more interestingly-shaped continent
The Master's Manse and the Brood Pit are placed on the map as placeholders
Sea tiles have fewer resources
Bugs
When more than five crewmembers are on the same tile, their busts are presented in the tile display so that all present crewmembers are visible (they were falling off the screen before)
Corrected the TITLE OF THE GAME in the page header, how did I miss this before?
Comments
Tried again. It's definitely bugged. Moving a crewmate holding one doesn't show a deploy action, putting it down creates a 'pile of waspiary' that can only be collected again and if there's foul water on the tile it will eventually disappear. Also there's still a few UI issues with firefox. I've started using Chrome just for this game instead.

2021-05-14 22:57:04 +0000 UTCFence kits, waspiaries and rafts are still bugged and can't be used. Also, crafting with held lumber leaves a 'lumber 0%' occupying an inv slot unless you drop it or get more.

2021-05-01 14:33:29 +0000 UTCJust when after 9 hours of trial and error I finally figured out how to play this game, and micromanage three people (lord help my soul if I need more) there's a new update!
