The Hunting Grounds is the premiere nightclub experience of Bidi-Essem, so famous that the name gets tossed around by offworlders making jokes about how depraved the planet is. Wouldn't you like to come visit?
The Hunting Grounds is essentially a meat market minigame. Put on some clubbing outfit and come meet new people, get to know them, maybe learn their name or obediently give them yours. See if you can seduce them or vice versa. Go dancing, get drinks, maybe even get a table with scandalously floor-sweeping tablecloths. If you play your cards right, you'll build trust and libido until they're eating out of your hand -- or you're eating out of theirs.
Each clubgoer is procedurally generated and comes at you with an agenda for how they think your interaction is going to go. Can you suss out how they want things to go and make that happen? Can you gently turn them around and get them to do what you want? Can you dom your way into a sloppy blowjob at a private table? Can you pick out just the right dom whose lap you wouldn't mind crawling into for the evening?

Whew! This minigame was something of a bear to get done, and I'm still waffling on whether or not it's a good addition to the game as a whole. I knew going into it that procedurally generating D/s relationships in a raucous club setting was going to be an undertaking, but I did not appreciate the depth of the endeavor until I was already hip-deep in the mess. If nothing else, by working on the many, many (many) possible iterations in general cases of D/s flirting, I feel like I've got a better grasp of how scripted interactions should be structured in the future. Worst case, this is a minigame that most players can ignore if it's not to their liking.
After doing all this highly abstracted stuff, I'm looking forward to delving into some very grounded, scripted content going forward. I'd like to get dates up and running and I'd like to flesh out a few characters who aren't coworkers. That may stray into figuring out site visits with clients (which might be like dates? I can't tell until I dig into the structure of those events), but I'm not sure.
Anyway, which named characters are you most eager to see in scripted content?

Changelog Version 0.5
The Hunting Grounds, the galactically notorious club of Bidi-Essem, is open on Rue Donatien. Come drop a wad of cash and party!
Inebriation is now tracked in stats. Drinking immediately lowers stress, decreases the poise you risk when making demands, and increases the stress that is reduced when you comply. Drinking too much is bad news, though: moderation is key!
Shoeshiner added outside Transplanetary on Van Darkholme Avenue
