We definitely have a bias because we love our group for sure. Would love to learn more about the history of dark magic in this world. -Sam

2025-11-13 16:55:58 +0000 UTCI honestly think Shuro is thinking straight and in the right, we might have sympathy for the group and Laios' sister reuniting with them, but just because it led to the results we wanted, doesn't mean it justifies Marcille's actions. If black magic was all that beneficial, then it wouldn't be all-right banned and looked down upon, especially since resurrection magic is common in this world; it's probably led to a lot more bad. Also as great as it is that Falin is alive, do we think she might've preferred to stay dead than to be mutated into a monster, again I know it's the lunatic magician's fault, but knowing her kindness and empathy, she's probably suffering knowing that she's harming her friends.

2025-11-09 03:12:55 +0000 UTCThe magic circle is a heating circle. We see it in the episode where Marcille dumps boiling water on the undine. They must bounce back and forth between using her magic and using real fire. Perhaps because there is no wood here and a draft it was easier to rely on magic than start a fire.

2025-11-09 01:18:03 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed the shapeshifter episode — it was so much fun! As an extra detail, the manga actually specifies how each character sees the others: About Chilchuck: The child Chilchuck is how Senshi sees him. The cute Chilchuck is how Marcille sees him. And the Chilchuck with the wrong scarf is how Laios sees him. About Senshi: The “handsome” Senshi is how Chilchuck sees him, since half-foot idolizes the masculine and sturdy features of dwarves. The Senshi with exaggerated features and misplaced tools is how Marcille sees him. And the Senshi with dents on his helmet is how Laios sees him. About Laios: The big guy is how Marcille sees him. When she first met him, she thought he might look a bit like Falin, but to her he ended up looking completely different. The dumb-looking one is how Chilchuck sees him — for pretty obvious reasons. And the one that resembles Falin is how Senshi sees him, since to dwarves, tall men tend to look rather feminine. About Marcille: The “mewing” Marcille is how Senshi sees her, because deep down he subconsciously fears elves due to the long-standing rivalry between their species. The Marcille with styled hair but a book lacking details is how Chilchuck sees her. He likes blonde hair, and that’s what he remembers most about her. Finally, the Marcille with her hair down and a determined look as she saves Falin is how Laios sees her. That’s how she looked when she resurrected Falin, leaving a strong impression on him. He also remembers the fine details of her book, since she’s the one who taught him magic directly from it.

2025-11-08 22:54:43 +0000 UTCJust to clear some stuff up so we're not TOO scared of Kabru, he hasn't actually demonstrated any desire to rule the dungeon/kingdom. When king Delgal came to the surface like we saw in episode 1, his last words before turning to dust were a promise that whoever could slay the lunatic magician would inherit the kingdom. This is a motivation some people have for delving into the dungeon, but we've seen that most people aren't actually interested in that, especially because they can't even conceive of fighting someone so powerful. When Kabru sees that Laois wants to defeat the magician, even if it has nothing to do with Delgal's promise, he recognizes that if he succeeded then he would be given control of the dungeon/kingdom (something Laois hasn't even considered) and questions whether he could be trusted with that power. That doesn't actually have anything to do with Kabru's comment about killing him. He just really didn't want to eat the monster omelette.
