I couldn’t help but think of Shingeki no Kyojin in this episode, and also of Eren… Loid and Eren share some similarities, but fortunately Loid wasn’t as twisted as Eren. He didn’t have such a warped sense of freedom, and he didn’t witness his mother’s death like Eren did—otherwise, who knows what chaos he might have brought into the world.
