2025-07-13 00:14:37 +0000 UTCThe girls have already talked about how they don’t care for the cringy fanservice in anime, especially in the high school setting. They tolerate it at best and yet people keep voting for these kinds of shows. This show especially didn’t even win the poll because it’s considered good but because people wanted OP to lose since they thought it would be a long term investment. I’m not one to complain about what they react to but the fatigue is real. The polls have great options including classics but recently a certain type of show has been dominating and tbh it’s not enjoyable for me to watch them cringe or be uncomfortable. I respect the end results usually and I end up enjoying some shows regardless of fanservice but I think some of the complaints are valid even if they seem whiny.

2025-07-09 10:01:54 +0000 UTCWhat is with some of the comments here? Didn't this series won a poll? People be complaining about how lewd/edgy it is?! Literally all anime have some form of fan service and yet people are upset about COTE's fan service?. The edgy main character is true.. yet he is pretty well written in LNs (Sadly the anime cuts off some LN scenes so it doesn't show some of the MC's growth/character interactions). Rather than complaining about it from the first 2 episodes, let the girls react & judge the show for themselves, it won the poll after all. Even I wanted Steins Gate to win one of the Polls, yet it's still not getting enough votes and I am waiting patiently instead of complaining about what won the Poll!
