I'm surprised no one has brought it up before, I I think it makes it a more enjoyable show this way, but Cid does not manifest or will anything, the stuff is actually going on and the people doing the things would also be doing them if he wasn't around. I'm guessing you guys must have seen another show where the MC manifested things into existence and that's why you think it's happening here?

2025-05-12 23:55:27 +0000 UTCZenon mentioned it in episode 5. The cult has a hierarchy, and the 12 Knights of Rounds are the leaders of the cult. Iris mentions at the end of the episode that she is creating a new order of knights, the Crimson Knights, with people she absolutely trusts. This was because Zenon, a trusted knight in this country, was a member of the cult. In this episode, Gaunt knight mentions his desire is to be reinstated into the knights of rounds, so he is a former leader in the cult.

2025-05-07 01:09:11 +0000 UTCThe girls turn into the blobs because they have the blood of heroes (that's what Cid told Alpha in episode 2; we'll learn more in future episodes). Other people call it a curse though instead. When the magic in their blood goes out of control they eventually turn into the blobs. Marco didn't turn Nu into the blob. We don't know what happened but my guess is that at worst he rejected her or broke off the betrothal when it became clear she was "cursed". Knights of Rounds are part of the Cult of Diablos, not the Knights Order that serve the Kingdom. They're like a very prestigious title/rank within the cult. Also I don't remember it ever being revealed what the deal with Cid is. I personally don't think he manifests the stuff like the cult though. Perhaps he is just very in tune with the world and can subconsciously pick up knowledge about anything in it, or he somehow bends fate to make things go his way, like "accidentally" crossing paths with the cult because he wanted an evil organization to fight against.
