I stood on Yuna's palm, awkwardly smiling down at my new students.

All five of them.

Or rather, all five of them staring at me like I had just crawled out of a fairy tale.

Three of them—Rika, Emiko, and Nao—had their mouths completely open, their eyes wide in shock. Nao looked like she was about to start vibrating out of sheer excitement, while Rika tilted her head as if she were trying to process what she was seeing. Emiko, on the other hand, had a hand over her mouth, her eyes practically shining in a way that made me more than a little nervous.

The only two who weren't openly freaking out were Kaito, who had barely moved, and Satsuki, who stood in the back with her arms crossed, observing me with sharp, unreadable eyes.

The dojo was dead silent.

Too silent.

The kind of silence that made me very uncomfortable.

I cleared my throat. "Uh... hi?"

That was all it took.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

Three titanic figures rushed forward at once, their thunderous footsteps sending shockwaves through Yuna's hand. Even though I wasn't touching the ground, I felt each impact rattle my bones. It was like watching an avalanche of flesh surging toward me.

I barely resisted the urge to phase out of existence on the spot.

"WHOA, GIRLS, CAREFUL."

Yuna yanked her hand back, shielding me behind her fingers like I was some fragile little bird. Her voice wasn't even particularly loud by Alpha standards, but to me it was like someone had just shouted into a megaphone right next to my skull.

The three girls skidded to a stop just in time, their giant faces filling my vision as they practically buzzed with excitement.

Nao clasped her hands together, practically bouncing on her heels. "OH MY GOD! YOU'RE SO TINY! CAN I HOLD HIM?! PLEASE?!" She turned her giant, pleading eyes to Yuna, her voice almost deafening.

Rika tilted her head, squinting at me. "Yuna, where the hell did you get this guy?" She narrowed her eyes playfully. "Didn't think you were into keeping little specks as pets."

My eye twitched. "Excuse me?"

"Ohhh," Emiko whispered, her face turning bright red as she stared at me like I was some kind of rare collectible. "I... I need one."

I blinked. "Uh—"

"I WANT AN OMEGA SO BAD," she blurted out in a strangled whisper. Her entire body shivered, and—was she drooling?!

Okay. Yeah. This was getting weird.

Yuna snorted beside me, clearly amused. I, on the other hand, was still trying to process the fact that I had just been reduced to a very desirable action figure in the eyes of three titanic martial artists.

I knew that Omegas and Alphas didn't interact much. Our societies were completely separate. Omegas lived in their own cities, in places Alphas rarely ever visited, and most Omegas weren't exactly eager to go knocking on the doors of beings that could crush them with a twitch of their pinky finger.

But knowing that and experiencing the full weight of their curiosity were two very different things.

Still, seeing their excited faces, I couldn't help but crack a small, embarrassed smile.

Then—

"So why is the little guy here exactly?"

The room went still.

I turned my head toward the voice.

Satsuki.

She hadn't moved from her spot by the wall, still leaning casually against it with her arms crossed. Unlike the others, she wasn't excited, or nervous, or even particularly interested. She was just... watching.

Her sharp gaze met mine for a moment before flicking up to Yuna.

Yuna, for her part, straightened up, a small smirk creeping onto her face.

"He's here to be your new master," she said simply.

Another silence.

Then—

The dojo erupted in laughter.

It was so loud that I actually had to cover my ears, gritting my teeth as their booming voices filled the air.

Nao collapsed onto the floor, clutching her stomach as she cackled. "Y-YOU'RE JOKING, RIGHT?! HAHAHA! HE'S SUPPOSED TO TEACH US?!"

Rika wiped a tear from her eye. "Oh man, Yuna, you really got us with that one."

Emiko was the only one not outright laughing, but she was covering her mouth again, her shoulders shaking like she was trying really hard to keep it together.

Even Kaito—who hadn't reacted to much of anything—was smirking slightly.

Yuna just rolled her eyes, her smirk never fading. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. But it's not a joke."

The laughter died down slightly, though there were still a few chuckles here and there.

I exhaled slowly, taking a deep breath.

Okay. Not exactly the warmest welcome as their new teacher, but hey—

I'd expected worse.

The laughter still echoed through the dojo, rattling in my skull like a bad migraine.

Nao was still wiping tears from her eyes, Rika had a cocky smirk on her face, and even Emiko—who at least tried to contain herself earlier—was shaking with giggles. Kaito, as always, looked indifferent, but there was a ghost of amusement tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Yuna, on the other hand, was not amused.

I could feel her muscles tensing beneath me, her fingers twitching like she was two seconds away from punching someone through a wall. Her brows furrowed, lips pressing into a tight line as she inhaled deeply through her nose.

Yeah. She was pissed.

But before she could snap, I spoke.

"Alphas..."

It was barely more than a whisper. A tiny murmur in the face of all their booming voices.

And yet—somehow—it cut through the noise like a knife.

The laughter died instantly.

Every single student turned their gaze toward me, their expressions shifting from amusement to surprise. Even Yuna blinked, her anger pausing just for a moment as she looked down at me in her palm.

I met their stares, my voice steady.

"Alphas... known for their strength. Their endurance. Their insane healing abilities. The undisputed rulers of combat." I let my words sink in before tilting my head slightly. "There's no race in the world more suited for battle than you."

Rika, still smiling, crossed her arms and nodded. "Of course there isn't. No one's stronger than us."

"And yet..."

I cut her off smoothly, my voice carrying a weight that made her blink in surprise.

I let the silence stretch just long enough before continuing, my gaze sweeping across the room.

"This race—one built for combat, one feared across the world for its overwhelming strength—once admired and respected Omegas." My tone was even, measured. "Even more than the Betas. Even more than anyone."

The dojo was completely still now.

I could feel their confusion, the gears turning in their heads. Even Satsuki—who had been the most unimpressed out of all of them—was watching me with slightly narrowed eyes, waiting for the answer.

"Why?" I asked simply.

No one spoke.

No one laughed.

Good.

I turned my head up to Yuna. "Put me down."

She hesitated, just for a second, before slowly lowering me to the floor.

The moment her fingers released me, I straightened my posture, standing as tall as my tiny form allowed.

Before me stood five towering figures, each of them over a hundred feet tall, each of them built for war.

The size difference was laughable. Impossible.

And yet, I smiled.

"Come at me," I said, my voice calm.

I watched the shock ripple across their faces.

Nao's jaw dropped. "W-what?"

Rika raised an eyebrow, looking me up and down like I'd just lost my mind.

Even Yuna stared at me, her lips parting slightly, as if I'd just suggested jumping off a cliff for fun.

I rolled my shoulders, keeping my smirk.

"All of you. At once."

Silence.

I could see the disbelief, the hesitation, the sheer absurdity of what I was saying playing across their faces.

Good.

This was going to be fun.
