Completly unrelated but theres this new anime that just started airing last saturday, and so far only has 2 episodes - KOWLOON: GENERIC ROMANCE I think yall would love it, its based around adults it has a 90s art style and feel but dosent feel outdated🤌🏻

So just a small reminder - Lye was the one that ate Rem, specifically he ate her Name and Memories. As for the ‘Foul Feeding’, ‘Gourmand’ and ‘Satiation’ stuff Wrath mentioned, that’s actually representative of the 3 Gluttony’s - Roy has been mentioned to be ‘Foul Feeding’ by Lye, and Lye has referred to himself as ‘Gourmand’ before, so we can assume Rui is ‘Satiation’. Also to note - as this season has shown, Stars, their names and their meaning are pretty important here. The Gluttony Trio have given three different last names - Batenkaitos, Alphard and Arnab. These are, as we can guess, names of stars in our world - and the interesting thing is they each have their own myth and meaning they’re related to: Baten Kaitos(that’s the actual star name, it’s two words for anyone interested, part of the Zeta Ceti Binary System) - A Giant Sea Monster (White Whale) Arnab - The Arabic Translation is ‘Hare’ (Great Rabbit) Alphard - The Brightest Star in the Hydra Constellation - also known as the Water Snake (Black Serpent). They’re all associated with one of the three respective Great Mabeasts of the Re Zero World - so interesting trivia at the least. Gluttony is honestly such a disgusting power, and you can see that in the reactions it elicits from others - where they get angry for reasons they don’t truly know why - as Gluttony has robbed them of the truth behind those memories. Also, little thing most people haven’t noticed - when we saw Gluttony eat one of the guards in Ep 15, he mentioned to Dynas about people named Miriam and Meili - we don’t know who Miriam is, but we have met Meili - she is the little girl who worked with Elsa and attacked the mansion in Season 2 (and was responsible for the demon dog stuff in season 1). Think we can pick up on what Dynas may be to Meili in that case based on the context… But yes, besides that, Al is defo Sus lmao, keep an eye on his word choice and phrases he uses - it can tell you a lot more about him, but he’s definitely one of the most interesting and shady characters in the series. But this was indeed the season finale - it was originally going to be a 30+ episode season, combining the next arc with this one, but due to other shows being prioritised, this Season was split in two, with Season 3 staying as these 16 episodes, and Season 4 being announced - with a promo trailer and artwork already having been released, so we won’t need to wait too long for more (hopefully 🥲).
