2025-01-06 17:45:49 +0000 UTCY'all are pumping these reactions out quickly, and I'm here for it! As much as I love the Tokyo Blade arc in the manga, the anime went above and beyond with the play. The character study, the animation, even the framing of the audience perspective, this part of the show is incredible.

2025-01-06 16:56:06 +0000 UTCA detail that is easy to miss is that Melts choreography in ep 6 was ad-libbed: as Abiko-sensei said, she drew it like that in the manga, but they didn’t include it in the play because they didn’t think it was possible to do by a real life actor. But Melt read the manga and worked insanely hard to be able to pull it off in the play. That’s why in the backstage he’s apologizing for the ad-libbing.
