a fun fact about the poem in the trailer from 28 years later "Boots" by Rudyard Kipling reflects the experiences of British infantrymen during the Second Boer War, Kipling wrote "Boots" to convey the monotonous and exhausting marches endured by soldiers in South Africa. Some people confuse it with the second world war but is not the same the Boer wars were when united kingdom was competing with other europe powers to colonize africa in the 1800s the Boer were descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa
