Image 1 - Render Region - Render a user-defined render.
For alot of the time if I do multiple variants (e.g the long hair), I tend to use Render Regions to cut down render time and only render selective parts that I need! The rest of it doesn't matter since it will be layered on top in Photoshop of the original versions later.

Here's a look in Photoshop about the Render Region rendering and multiple variants. I add 2 Groups of the same rendered outfits, the second group contains the long hair version, which I masked out the ponytail hair from the first group and the long hair was layered on top. This is a neat trick considering the background is seperated from the characters and you wouldn't need to use a healing brush to fill blank spots when masking. I only needed to copy the layer styles and settings so that it would all look the same in the final product.

Now, I know that the pose looks good and dynamic from this certain angle I've put it in, but that isn't always the case when doing 3D scenes. You often manipulate certain limbs to make it look good from different angles. E.g Spidey's Arm looks VERY broken.

The way the background is set-up: I took in-game screenshots (Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered) of Times Square and tried to align the position and camera aperture relatively the same as the 3D scene in Blender. Good that it all blended together nicely after I added it in. The 2 extra planes on the side are for extra lighting and colors that bounces off both characters, giving it more vibrance.

In Photoshop, I sometimes add little lens flares/dirt to liven up the scene a bit more and make it look realistic.
