As I understand it the Mask is more of a Placebo. Kazuma is a high luck character but that gets nerfed around his low luck teammates. Plus when around others he cant use Life Drain to Fuel his abilities cos its a Lich spell. He really does have a good tactical mind though

2025-01-04 19:16:57 +0000 UTCiirc, Vanir did mention that the mask improves blood flow when he gave it to kazuma which explains why he was saying he felt in top condition this episode. i always assumed the rest was just that feeling getting to Kazuma's head rather than any sort of possession from the mask.
