Lot of stuff they could've expanded on and that's not even considering that the creators revealed that they left out like 60 minutes of Ekko and Jinx content. Giving us timebomb ship and then shafting us is nasty work lol

2024-12-01 03:13:58 +0000 UTCAlot of people mentioned this but its not a 100% fact that Jinx is dead or not, they left that up to the viewers interpretation. Jinx is Alive For 3 Reasons 1. The shimmer streak that Jinx leaves when she moves really fast appears, split second before the explosion, and no it wasn't part of the explosion, since the explosion produced blue and purple dust, and blue streaks of light but there was only one purple streak that happened before seen shooting towards the wall which I assumed had a air duct. 2. Caitlyn's still studying Jinx's death fiddling with her toy, and looking at the air duct blueprints on the hex tech tower. Remember that Caitlyn has shown the ability to recreate scenes pretty accurately, like she did with the scene of jinx vs the firelights, and the warwick prison break. If she had Jinx gadget that would mean she visited the explosion sight and her not being able to piece enough evidence together that left her still curios if Jinx is really dead should be a good indicator she is not. 3. Finally most compelling evidence is the single airship at the end scene. Remember this is Arcane, they have great attentions to details on every scene, so for them to randomly put in a single airship at the end scene wasn't a mistake it was deliberate, which takes us back to season 1 when powder said she was going to ride one of those airships one day, which she does leaving Vi breaking the cycle, as she imagined Silco saying the only way to break the cycle is to leave. 4. Originally she planned on taking her own life, but I think she saw the perfect opportunity to fake her own death and break the cycle, notice how Vi turned away before the actual explosion, if she didn't she might have also seen Jinx escape, again I think Arcane deliberately made the scene this way.

2024-12-01 01:05:28 +0000 UTCJinx is still alive, they gave us just enough clues at the end there to support it, first is Caitlyn holding a fragment of Jinx's monkey bomb while looking through the blueprints of the Hexgates where Jinx and Vander fell and blew up, she was looking a the airducts that Jayce and Ekko mentioned earlier and how those ducts lead down to the undercity meaning there is a slim chance Jinx escaped. The second clue is the mysterious airship at the end flying off into the horizon, that airship looks exactly like the same type that Powder saw all the way back to season 1 episode 1 and she said "one day, I'm gonna ride in one of those". The final clue is the last few frames where the screen blacked out, it showed some of Jinx's graffiti with the title "the end", and you could hear Jinx's giggle at the end there. Now this final clue is not confirmed, I'm just repeating what someone else theorised, in the game, there's apparently a universe where Jinx is best friends with another game character named Lux who resides in Demacia, which is a kingdom West of Piltover and Zaun so assuming that airship is Jinx, she could be heading there to rehabilitate or something. The creators did say they're making more stories based on the other places in Runeterra.

The show creators, at least from what I've been able to find, have neither confirmed or denied her being dead. Of course, this is what you'd expect so they can surprise us later or simply use her character down the road. Allow people to believe what they want. Her being dead works just as well as her being alive for her character arc.

He just said he saw an interview with one of the creators mentioned several projects are already in the works which include the 3 series and a follow-up arcane movie. Follow-up Arcane movie sounds like something that will be used to wrap up the Arcane show and introduce the next nation for the next series they will release. I just don’t think that’s happening cuz he would reincarnate where arcane takes place but we know the others shows take place in other places and maybe even other universes. Tho it makes sense cuz of his species I’m trynna see how he would come to play in the other shows.

Excited to see what they have cooking for these characters in the future!

Show runner confirmed Heimerdinger not dead either so maybe he just got sent somewhere else that’ll be shown in one of the new shows or movie

2024-11-30 17:53:56 +0000 UTCNothing that happens I disliked it’s just that for a show that’s been about slow burn writing most storylines got to 8/10 completed then the last parts of the arc felt like they had to all be forced into two episodes. Its just noticeable because the shows had insane writing all the way through and it felt they were forced into putting everything into a certain time frame I’m sure they wanted to extend the finale 20-30 minutes

It is probably to show the aftermath of everything and how everyone is doing, it’ll probably and hopefully show us other characters from the game that should have been in Arcane and what they were up to. It should also bridge Singed to Noxus since Singed has a big influence in the war between Noxus and Ionia

2024-11-30 17:10:29 +0000 UTCA few theories to tickle the brain: 1) I don’t think Jinx died. Right before the explosion, u see a bright purple flash of light dash away from the explosion area. I think when Jinx said “Always with you, even when we’re world apart” she meant it quite literally. Jinx probably planned to help and then leave Pilltover or go into hiding to still end the cycle and let Vi live in peace with Cait. Jinx may go into hiding like Silco or she may more likely go to another nation. Even Caitlyn was looking into the explosion. She was holding Jinx’s monkey head and looking at the hexgate structure to see if maybe she got away through one of the air ducts. I think Caitlyn found out that Jinx got away from the explosion and is out there somewhere. Who knows if she will tell Vi though 🤷♂️ 2) This kinda goes with #1 but a friend of mine thinks that Jinx is riding the blimp at the end because in episode 1 Powder said “One day I’m going to ride on one of those things.” So ey she may be going to the next nation we will be introduced to and she may be our traveling psycho and quirky protagonist. 3) Viktor from this timeline actually WAS NOT going to become like the doomed timelines. In the convo Viktor and Singed had, Viktor spoke about fate and if Singed believe in it(probably because Viktor had an idea of what his fate is and didn’t want to accept that fate). Singed said he doesn’t believe in fate because he believes in evolution, that evolution is what guides us or wtv. Viktor then says that evolution has an end though, it is what Viktor considers “the glorious evolution.” Which as we see, the glorious evolution does stop all sorts of senselessness but Viktor is lonely). Anyway back to the Viktor and Singed convo, Viktor then ends the convo by saying that he does not want to continue into such an evolution by merging with warwick. Viktor actually still cared about the humanity in people. All those people in his village WERE NOT lifeless beings. They were all people who still had their humanity but without the setbacks like pain, suffering, feeling hot or cold, or any sort of body pains. They were all doing what they wanted(they had blacksmiths, fruit vendors, cooks, people playing out in the street). Viktor was healing and evolving everyone while keeping their humanity in there(You can even tell in the space Viktor and Jayce were in, Jayce still had his own senses and his face still while everyone else that Viktor turned into machines were just faceless and all gold, meaning Viktor CAN leave them in their human form, the all gold is when they become lifeless machines). Jayce however caused a paradox where he is the one that causes his Viktor to turn into every other Viktor from the other timelines. Viktor from the other timelines is like the Viktor from the actual LoL lore, he wanted to turn everyone into the perfect lifeless robot machine beings. Our Viktor was different. We even see his humanity go away during the transformation. Skye was his final piece of humanity keeping him in check but because of Jayce, Viktor decided to be like “you know what? Ye u right, fuck humanity and their free will, lemme just take that shit away from them.” 4) Heimerdinger isn’t dead. What if Heimerdinger actually got transported back with Ekko to their timeline? Just that Heimerdinger ended up in an entirely different nation. Maybe Heimerdinger will meet up with Jinx in whatever nation she goes to. Maybe he meets up with Jayce n Viktor in wherever they teleported to. 5) Jayce and Viktor are not actually dead. That sound at the end was the same sound as when the hexgates were teleporting ships off. It is also the same sound when Viktor teleported Jayce and his mom to safety. Once again, its the sound we hear when evil Viktor teleports Jayce back to Jayce’s actual timeline. Maybe they teleported off somewhere together. 6) Theory for the LoL nerds. What if that guy playing the piano is who becomes Jhin? 🤔 we saw him getting combat training and was given a sniper. He did survive the battle too soooo. What if he is on the blimp along with Jinx and the blimp is heading toward ionia? Where we all thought Jhin was originally from. Maybe when we see him play the piano, it’s like looking back at old memories of when he would play the piano in Pilltover? 🤔🤔 so that means Jhin may actually originally be from Pilltover but went to spend so much time in ionia that in his lore that is where we think he is from 🤔 That is all. Hope they make you think a bit 😁

And I know it sounds like coping but there is actually some solid evidence hidden amongst the details and we all know that Arcane is a stickler for the details. 1.) if you rewatch the Jinx/Vander explosion and go frame by frame the explosion of the Hextech monkey bomb. You can see a very distinct PINK line going off to the side leaving the center of the explosion. This is thought to be jinx using her shimmer abilities to jump away at the last second and we’ve seen throughout the show how FAST she is with shimmer. 2.) the second main piece of evidence and the probably the most “shoved in our faces” kind of thing is when Caitlyn is looking through the archives and she’s looking at the blueprints of the HexGate. They LITERALLY zoom in on what looks like ventilation shafts near the area where the explosion took place, so she could’ve gotten out through one of these vents. This is also supported since the thing Caitlyn is fiddling with in her hands is the head of the monkey bomb, so that shows the explosion didn’t incinerate everything. 3.) this is the one that probably makes sense the best for Jinx’s character, but the very last shot of the show is an air ship flying away leaving Piltover, in the very first episode of the show Jinx as Powder said “One day I’m gonna ride in one of those things.” And even “The End” at the end of show if you slow it down it’s literally in Jinx’s signature hand writing. But I believe this is the best piece of evidence because it makes sense for her character, in the jail cell she realized that she needs to break the cycle of all this death and chaos that has plagued everybody. So she tried to do this by committing suicide but luckily Ekko stopped her. So in the end I believe she found another way to break the cycle and that’s by leaving entirely. Anyways the world of the League of Legends is vast, Arcane itself only takes place in one of like the many major areas and this show only had like 10 out of 160+ different characters. So like if Jinx is still alive (which I believe she is) it’s possible they’re gonna use her in these other shows to connect all the stories.

The Mage - Victor - saw the outcome of his actions, and knew that hextech used the way he was trying to use it would destroy everything. He also saw that Jayce would be able to show him that the pursuit of perfection meant the loss of humanity.

Left his paradise and dream girl behind, return to his own chaotic world to save it, stopped Jinx’s deleting herself. Resistant Viktor’s mind control and saved the world. And was rewarded for noble and valor acts with loneliness and sorrow. The Boy Savior, The Boy Who Shattered Time. Ekko was the true hero of the series, at least in my thoughts he is.

It’s hard to see but you can find frame by frames online. As well as Caitlin holding the remains of the bomb and smiling at the blue prints of the air duct in the tower. As well as the blimp at the end being one Powder wanted to ride some day in episode one. I think she decided to leave to end the cycle like Silco spoke about. I like to imagine Ekko hears stories of some inventor some day far away and they meet again.

2024-11-30 15:22:38 +0000 UTCI and a lot of folks share your ladies' feelings of confliction and unsatisfyingness. Arcane definitely could have had more and episodes and seasons. Some elements and story beats were definitely rushed and skipped over. But what a truly peak series that had a generational run. The amount of hype, chills, and goosebumps I had when Jinx and Ekko show up to the battlefield. The Presentation was remarkable. While this might be a series finale, I’m with Caitlyn when she said “Their story isn’t done.” We’re definitely getting some spinoffs, and Jinx is so most definitely not dead. The React Pack reaction enhanced this already incredible show to a high level of dopeness levels.
