He also doesn't hold himself to the same standard he expects of anyone else, I can wait to see Reinhard put hands on him lol. Also, cool thing Reinhard did at the meeting is apparently he can wish for more blessings, which is how he was able to see Lilliana had the blessing of telepathy. Good reactions as always, see you guys in February with the second cour.

Tho I won’t lie, Subaru had us in the first half for his speech xD but he came back towards the end and really knocked it outta the park. As for episode 8 - glad you enjoyed that as well! Think an important thing to recognise with that is Subaru’s eagerness to more or less take all of Crusch’s burden upon himself - while it’s an honourable thing to do, it’s very unhealthy. He was 100% gonna take all of it until crusch stopped him, which demonstrates that Subaru still doesn’t value himself in the slightest. He still hasn’t resolved his self hatred unfortunately - only allowed others love for him to encourage him to keep going - I.E. Rems speech gave him the courage to continue, but it didn’t stop him hating himself, which is important to remember. Also - little bit of trivia, it’s not mentioned anywhere else, but that seat that Regulus saved for Emilia was actually going to be Fortuna’s - but Regulus found her to be an…’unpleasant’ woman and just left the seat open lmao…yeah looking forward to his death xD Still, goodbye for now Re: Zero! It’ll come back in February, so hope you’re looking forward to it!
