Black Cat - Behind The Scenes #1!

Image 1 - Entire scene was setup in Blender, everything is 3D and takes days to complete!
Image 2 - Here's how I organize everything to keep it tidy and simple, you could add custom
properties to the groups of clothing to toggle on and off but I like to keep it normal and do everything manually.
Image 3 - The Final Render is split into multiple parts containing: The Character, Foreground and Background. There are also Render Passes to help boost it's colors/highlights/materials etc. It's done in this way to have full control over the compositing in individual groups & useful for Photoshop later on.
Image 4 - On the right side, you can see how I group these images all together and how I mix them. I've had to repeat the Black Cat outfit variant renders 7 times and repeat the process each time for a new variant. (Tedious!) As for the Background and Foreground, those were also mixed together to give it an all in one look, there were a lot of color and mixing changes and the final result was great.
Image 5 - The Final compositing involves merging all the layers and add the final changes to FX and Color. This was done through Photoshop's Camera Raw Filter and Boris FX's Optics. Repeating each of these again for all the outfit variants.
