To please the LoL fans showing that LoL Viktor did still exist somewhere. LoL Viktor had a goal to turn everyone into lifeless machines because he considered it the most perfect glorious evolution. We see our Viktor mention that too but also said that he isn’t willing to sacrifice Warwick’s humanity to reach that point. He never planned to turn everyone into lifeless machines like his alternate self. Jayce basically created a paradox where he thinks what he was doing was the right thing, but ended up causing his Viktor to turn into evil Viktor from the alternate timeline. It doesn’t help that Viktor makes Jayce think that every single Viktor would end up like him. There is always one or two or a few timelines where the evil person isn’t actually evil but due to the fact of characters just seeing a bad timeline, they think that person for sure is evil.

Jayce is glitching in and out so he's clearly been through something and isn't the same he also just murdered salo who seemingly did nothing wrong. It's pretty reasonable to dislike him right now until we see his side of the story. 😉

2024-11-26 03:51:37 +0000 UTC*From here on there will be one or two spoilers* incase they read this. Basically just go back to when Viktor speaks with Singed. Viktor speaks about fate and if Singed believes its true. Is it true that we all have this fate where we all MUST do what that fate has in store for us? Singed said that he doesn’t believe in fate but believes that evolution is what guides them and takes them toward where they need to go. Viktor then says that there only one final glorious evolution BUT proceeds to saying that he wont sacrifice warwick’s humanity for singed’s goal of evolution(evolving Viktor so he can use Viktor to save his daughter). “Sacrificing his humanity” is more of a way to show that Viktor is not willing to take ANYONES humanity away, he could if he wanted to but doesn’t want to(later we see Viktor say that he didn’t wish for it to come to this to Jayce). I think Viktor knew what fate had in store for him, he is supposed to bring everyone to the glorious evolution but he knew what the cost would be and chose not to. He instead chose to heal and just live peacefully in a village he built with everyone else he healed. People think that those people werent human anymore or wtv but they in some way were because they still had their own free will, they could all do what they want. We even see a kid just playing on the ground that Jayce was about to shoot. Things here could have been different from what Jayce saw, not all timelines end the same even if they have the some similar elements occur in each timeline. We even see Skye(what represents his humanity, that he still had that in him) disappear after he decided to go through with Singed’s idea and with what his Fate was supposed to be.

Being so willing to just hate Jayce without knowing his motives when we know him to not be a person to just go around murdering people is interesting. Meanwhile, Victor is running a cult of people who seem to lack free will after being "healed" by him, but we're supposed to be ok with that.
