2024-11-16 08:03:58 +0000 UTCyeah the feedback on the animation is fair enough. the problem of this season is the very tight schedule since they had to work on this for less than a year after the movie, mostly cos of the higher-ups in kodansha/bandai namco rushing the studio's deadlines to make sure the anime is out while the manga is still getting high sales, which is really just upsetting cos the u-20 match is a really great arc. i'd say this season has better compositing and art compared to season 1, and the soundtrack + voice acting is still fire but it's really just the animation that's lackluster. tho in my opinion, it's only episode 2 and a bit of episode 3 that's a hard + confusing watch, and they do show steady improvements in the episodes in terms of leg movement/running scenes even if it's quite minimal. so hopefully the rest of the season continues with that increase in quality, even if its bit by bit. anyway i had fun watching this reaction, and i hope you guys still get to enjoy the season regardless! i'm excited for you guys to see the next episodes too :D
