Turbo Granny is a rumoured spirit in the first episode of Mob also in a tunnel. It turns out to be a big scary mountain spirit but ends with Mob being crushed when an old lady jogger easily out runs him.

A lot of this involves some history . In japan during the 70s ,80s and 90s . There were something called bosozoku or japanese youth gangs who many time rode motorcycles . This was post world War 2 japan and young gang membership was on the rise. Add onto a minor couldn't be sent to criminal court until they changed it in the 2000s they basically went unchecked . Note that this change happend because a bunch of high profile sexual assault and muder cases one being junko furuta one of the most disgusting cases I have ever seen happened. So it makes sense why she would be racing in tunnels and place motorcycle gangs would frequent .

2024-11-01 16:06:21 +0000 UTCIt’s a pretty water tight theory, but people think after turbo granny cursed Ken and came through the phone was because she could sense that momo was about to be sexually assaulted and came through to stop it. It’s a nice thought One of my thoughts adding on to this is that originally granny was a consoling sprit, helping others who did a brutal death, being used and killed by scum of society, however since the spirits of those people were unable to pass one their natural hatred for what was done to them slowly corrupted granny, she still did her duty in a way but was way more aggressive to innocent people

Stories like if you Drive tooo fast She will dash right next to you and knock on your window, and when you see her, you will get jumped scared on you will crash. Also, to add to Morgan clue about weenies being snatch. To protect. Turbo granny actually popped trough the phone To save Momo from Aliens in episode one.
