By thinking of it in inappropriate ways you just make things awkward 😂😂 and for people who think other things during ecchi scenes, you’re sick 😑 Point is, ecchi in anime is used as a comedy point not to be sexual or weird so stop making it awkward, this aint a hentai 😂 its 2D characters in an ANIME not HENTAI

Most of the time you're too busy laughing but this show is like "ohhh that wholesome and cute..." and then the next moment you get the fanservice so its like too big of a change. Konosuba is just overall crazy in every way possible so I think it works better.

Pretty sure it's all, comparatively, fairly tame from here out. But unfortunately still ever present in every episode

2024-10-02 18:27:42 +0000 UTClooking that is exactly what I thought might have happen, if you read further into what she's saying Basically, the author mind is more of just making a cute romcom with cosplay she wants the series to appeal to everyone. In a interview paraphrasing a friend of her boyfriend told her to stop cosplaying, So she wrote a story of a couple accepting each other hobbies. So The Ecchi of the show is to appeal to some guys, The Manga editors wanted more of that. because premise itself target girls. That is very different from series like 100 girls, or to love ru where service is the plot. This actually is a more serious romcom.

2024-10-02 17:16:39 +0000 UTCYes, you have missed a lot of it context, beside ep 2, most eps have 2 or 3 echi scenes. but 90% of the show actually focus more the growing romance between the main characters, and that in addition a lot detail about cosplaying, making customs going to events. I was waiting til they passed ep 4, because I knew it was tear jerker, Despite some just wanting to reduce the show to fanservice who clearly haven't much of the show, the show is actually a fun romcom, with a little drama. What you seen in the middle tho............ the show trolled the audience that the youngest looking character in the show is actually the oldest. That was uncomfortable imo, This freaks everyone out until they find out later. but again, the show is like 10% ecchi 90% romcom. It funny people still trying to exaggerate while they clearly enjoying the show despite the annoying fan service at times.

Direct quote: "What the editing team requires from my manuscripts are 'cute girl', 'romcom', and 'panty shots'." (https://imgur.com/a/uSbeRWp) (That quote lives rent-free in my head lmao. They wouldn't let her draw the eyes too fancy?? For fear of scaring off male readers??? Editors are wild.) But I think that pressure might have eased off after it became a mega-hit, because there's a lot less of it in more recent volumes.
