2024-09-23 17:25:53 +0000 UTCThe last 3 (or 4 because Raiden’s speech is so powerful) of 86 could have been a stand alone movie I love this show and it’s still amazing on repeat watches and the Light Novels are also great, hoping for S2 but the novel that takes place after the anime ends is so so good all 86 fans should read

2024-09-23 02:19:48 +0000 UTCI like the little detail when Kiri’s berating Shin during that what if scene, he does the exact same moves as Frederica did when she first met Shin and co. Pretty bittersweet tbh. Speaking of Frederica, she wasn’t the one that ordered the Legion to attack. It’s more she’s taking the accountability for her family’s actions as she feels responsible. Adding her ability to see the past and present of people she meets, she’s definitely more mature than your regular 10 year old. So that guilt for what happened when the Legion attacked is tripled for her.

Idk exactly how they gave the command doe since the legion ended up turning against the empire WHILE the empire’s own people were rebelling against the empire too 😂😂 Also Kiri mentions oldest sons. Im assuming that Kiri knew many nouzens and most probably died. So Shin is the only other nouzen left that he has seen so he is technically the eldest son of the nouzen clan now 🤷♂️

2024-09-21 21:15:31 +0000 UTCThey werent ostracized in the federacy at all. The federacy always wanted what was best for them but they wanted to return to the battlefield. They were the best in the country’s army so they were also selected for the hardest mission along with the rest of their squad(that were also federacy citizens). They themselves chose to follow the morpho even though everyone in the army told them that they should retreat because it is a suicide mission if they follow but they told them this is best for the country(which it is but the commanders still didn’t want them to have to go off on their own). Basically everything that has happened to them in the federacy army is all their own choice/decision. As for the “hate” they saw in the federacy. It was hate from the soldiers (not any of the commanders in charge). The soldiers hated them because our crew would always go on missions with 0 fatalities while the other soldiers would always lose comrades in every battle, which is why they started calling our crew monsters. It wasn’t rlly the same type of hate as in the republic. The republic was just pure absolutely evil racist hatred. The soldiers in the federacy had more of a jealousy hate like “how come they always get to live and come back together?” They just bunch of B who just need to get good 😂😂

They were hated until they died. But that did not matter to them, they fought because until the end because no one else would. They will be remembered.

2024-09-21 14:25:44 +0000 UTCI screamed when Anju said "I'll take care of them", got progressively upset when Theo split off, I started panicking when Kurena's signal blipped off the screen. I was completely done when the Morpho shot at Raiden. This episode was pure stress, watching it for the first time made it feel like I was watching the end of Akame Ga Kill. Last two episodes of 86 are CINEMA, it was perfect, solidified this show as a masterpiece.
