They decided themselves to fight again and sadly they are just best choice for this almost impossible mission. Do nothing and like they said that ultra long range artillery would be destroying and killing the innocents on their capital. So it's do or die situation for Federation. Compared to Republic they were throwing 86 to die against legion without themselves risking anything or really giving the best equipment to fight, in this story it's even more surprising why Republic frontline didn't collapse faster how they behaved towards 86 people.

2024-09-12 21:09:54 +0000 UTCI know you guys finished watching all the eps but you guys misunderstood several things this episode 😭 1) The “86 stay away” sign has probably been up since way before to stop 86 from sneaking into the districts. It doesn’t mean they didn’t let the 86 go inside. We clearly see the 86 INSIDE the districts fighting off the legion with the help of Lena and other Alba that support her. We also clearly see 86 running aroundLena and her Alba crew probably preparing things. 2) The Federation and Republic are NOTHING alike. The Federation has been trying to tell them to quit and trying to stay as safe as possible. This is a literal war and it is currently going downhill. They are trying to plan the best assault possible to take out the morpho. It’s not like our 86 crew are the only ones going. They literally said that they are sending in the most experienced soldiers which just so happens to include them because they are very strong and experienced. The republic made the 86 fight all on their own and sent them to suicide missions because they hate them. The Federation is making our crew fight because our crew WANTS to and they are sending them on a suicide mission because they know they are their strongest force!! If you send weak soldiers toward the morpho it would be like sending a child to go fight a fully built mma fighter. 3) Marcel or wtv his name was smiled but it was like a sad smile because he understands. The sister blames Shin for her brother’s death just like Marcel did. Marcel understands now that it wasn’t his fault but also understands the sister because he reacted the same way she did when he first witnessed his death. 4) the stare everyone gave isn’t of like “ew look at these losers” it more of “damn im jealous of them because they are all so strong and continue to live while my friends and family are all just dying.” They are upset that the 86 crew has had 0 deaths and are so strong and alive

2024-09-12 19:13:42 +0000 UTCI don't think the Federation is the same as the Republic at all, they've gotten so many opportunities to leave and live a normal life. It's only until this very last push from the Legion that it's all hands on deck. Why not send an experienced group who WANTS to fight?
