It really if you think it through show nothing about the war for Elba as they sacrificed other people to fight their own war.

2024-09-01 14:49:58 +0000 UTCDid you notice when Cyclops (Shinden) tells Lena she could call her by her real name, Lena didn't because her name, Shinden reminds Lena of Shin just to add more sadness to this episode but thank God they lived. Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that in the light novel, Shin and all of them actually died there on that battlefield.

2024-09-01 12:19:22 +0000 UTCThe Republic and Empire were not together xD again, it was mentioned before that the empire built the legion to fight their wars against other countries like the republic and others before they lost control of them. Also, I dont entirely remember but I think this is the team she was with in episode 1. I believe cyclops was the person she spoke to at the start of the show, seems they are more friendly with each other now lol

2024-09-01 00:09:56 +0000 UTCWith the red stripe in her hair and black uniform, Lena is representing all 5 colors of the San Magnolia flag, doubling down on her resolve to follow those ideals. I love the steady crumbling of the fountain since season 1, the cracks and litter building up to mirror San Magnolia slowly losing the war against the Legion. Cyclops got her callsign from having two different colored eyes. The scene with Shin and his brother was symbolic but also real, he carried Shin and the rest to the Giad border where they were picked up. His destroyed mech is shown right after Shin wakes up when Ernst is walking down the hallway with his advisors.
