If they stumbled upon someone, that’d be great, but they weren’t necessarily looking. Second note. In the discussion you mentioned that shins scar isn’t from his brother. It actually is! It looks weird because in the light novel when rei choked shin, he was wearing a necklace or something. The scar is from that. Anyway, thanks for the reaction. RIP 86

2024-08-29 16:57:47 +0000 UTCThe doll’s head falling off. Think about it a bit more and you’ll understand. The last thing you see of them is the legion robot about to take Shin’s head. So just like the rain dolls symbolized their death. The doll missing its head symbolizes Shin getting his head taken.

What Anette said was all hypothetical and is what they WOULD’VE done if they were allowed to run tests on Shin(which remember asking to test Shin was her excuse to help Shin escape which failed because they rejected the idea). 2) Shin’s neck scar is from his brother’s strangulation. In the anime it was barehanded but in the story he actually strangulated him with a chain to the point of bleeding and leaving a scar. Idk why the anime changed it, maybe too gruesome of child abuse? 🤷♂️ 3) The 86 are only called the 86 in the Alba Empire. All the 86 are is just anyone without white hair. Out in the world obviously there are people with different colored hair, its not like every single country are run by Alba 😂😂

2024-08-29 16:47:17 +0000 UTCI know you guys are farther ahead, but a couple (late it would seem) clarifications: The Legion are smart enough to keep track of the 86, figuring out which units and individuals perform the best and make an effort to take their heads whenever possible. They tried to take Burnt Tayl's a few episodes ago, but once she KO'd herself they gave up on it. Shin's scar is from his brother, though the anime changed it to a strangulation with his bare hands while the source material he used a necklace or chain to leave that mark. The 86 are exclusive to San Magnolia, as they're everyone who's not Alba FROM San Magnolia. Everywhere else people would just be citizens of their home country.
