Oh also the ppl they didn't drop the check for were high school teachers that had been saving up for awhile to go there. They wanted to blow their minds with a superior fine dining experience which included them not letting the couple pay.

Something to think about is that Richie, like Carmey, can’t really focus on romance right now. They’re trying to get something big off the ground and “distractions” are the killer.
