2024-04-24 16:32:57 +0000 UTCEchidna hating emelia doesn’t make sense. Season 2 episode 11 showed echidna doesn’t have emotions. Except when satella appeared. .. Echidna dies 400 years ago & emelia was born approximately 300 years later…. Something here doesn’t make sense. Exhindas book says the barrier must come down, at this precise time. .. When in doubt, ask. Who benefits? Echidna wanted the barrier down, that’s what HER book says…. Why? This feels like a snake oil salesman thing…. Echidna “crying being mad” - ohhh no emelia. Don’t take down the barrier. I would hate that…..

2024-04-18 21:15:12 +0000 UTCMany theorize that Minerva is Emilia's mother. She's human and Emilia's dad is Elf which would fit because Emilia is half Elf. They both have kind eyes, and Fortuna said she got her kind eyes from her mother. In the Web Novel it states that Emilia felt familiar with Minerva, hence the emotion between them. Nothings confirmed. Author said we would be revisiting Elinor Forest (location of first trial) in Arc 10. Season 3 will cover arc 5 & 6. Author is heavily invested in getting all of Re:Zero animated.

2024-04-18 20:49:41 +0000 UTCRam burned that book to hopefully get rid of that emotional attachment Roswaal has with Echdina. Basically telling him “Please stop living in the past, stand here with us, with me! Live in the present!” Without actually saying it 😂 but yea Roswaal needs to find a new love, Echidna is not capable of understanding how to love him. She might be able to understand to love other things but it’s hard because Echdina never took the time to understand her own feelings. NEXT UP! We need to get rid of Betty’s emotional attachment to Echidna!!! Echidna was a great person (evil to others) but she struggled to see/feel/understand all the emotions of people around her.

2024-04-18 18:19:27 +0000 UTCRoswaal is generally a kind person, that part of him never left. It’s just that whenever it involves his plan/dream he is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish it even if it means doing evil things. You gotta remember his teacher was Echidna who always had a similar mentality, if you have a goal then do whatever it takes to reach that goal. You guys are definitely misunderstanding Roswaal and Echidna which I dont blame you since that is the way the story demonstrates them to us but the show also leaves in subtle hints that both of them are very much internally kind people(even doe Echidna doesnt realize it herself). Roswaal fell in love, love can make people do the craziest things for the person they love which is why he is doing all this. Both Roswaal and Betty had an extreme attachment to Echidna because she was kind to them and was doing good things to help others, even if it meant hurting others (it looks like she was helping minorities and probably doing a few bad things here n there to anybody that was a bullied minority). Echidna was just doing things she wanted to do and had no emotion doing it which is why she never realized who she was saving and making them appreciate her while also being attached to her BUT she also never realized how other people began to fear her because of actions she took. Echidna struggles understanding emotions, she sees them as tools so she never rlly understands why she feels a certain why at time(like last episode when she cried at the beautiful present that Emilia could have had). Even if Betty didnt have a contract with Echidna, if it was just some verbal promise made between Betty and Echidna then Betty would still have choosen to stay in the library because of that emotional attachment she has to Echidna.

2024-04-18 18:16:30 +0000 UTCOh I’m not saying she didn’t love Roswaal, all I’m saying is her dependency and how much she loved him was changed. Without Rem, she only had Roswaal, and that has deepened her love for him as a result. But regardless of all of it, it’s still Stockholm Syndrome, he’s in a position of power over her and initially forced her to work for him as a child, it’s still textbook Stockholm Syndrome.

2024-04-18 17:19:36 +0000 UTCRam absolutely loved Roswaal before Rem was erased. In the novels, during the first arc at the mansion, Ram thinks to herself that she’s not entirely confident that Rem is who she loves most. Ram’s love is supposed to parallel Rem’s. Like Roswaal and Subaru are supposed to parallel each other. As for the reason she loves him at this point, it could be any number of things. The daily intimate mana transfer certainly has a large part to it. He’s also not ALWAYS evil, he definitely plays up his malevolence. He’s just completely obsessed with the future Echidna wrote for him, and he’ll destroy anything the deviates from the path towards his goal. But other than that, according to Frederica he’s always been kind to them and others. So at some point growing up I imagine she saw the start difference in how he normally is vs. When the book is involved. Roswaal being incredibly rich, powerful, and a pretty boy underneath his clown-ass costume also doesn’t hurt.

2024-04-18 17:18:43 +0000 UTCWelcome back to another round of ‘Who’s Emilia’s Mother?’ - are you ready for more guesses and no answers? But Dani, you’re spot on where you said her mother was one of them (meaning one of the Witches of Sin), the question most are looking for is which one. There’s some obvious ones that can be chalked off - Typhon and Daphne are too young (And Daphne’s bound in chains), can’t be Satella as she’s already a Half Elf, and Emilia’s parents need to be a Elf and a Human, meaning it has to be a human witch. It also can’t be Pandora as she’s clearly done something to her parents based on Fortunas voice lines, and Hector (representing the sin of Melancholy) is a man, so can’t be him, which leaves Echidna, Minerva, Sekhmet and Carmilla as the possible candidates. Of course, we do not have an answer yet, but there is the most likely candidate, which I’ll not include here to leave it up for theorising, but Emilia is more or less confirmed to be a descendant of a Witch of Sin. Now as for Ram’s love…it’s honestly a mix of things - starting with Stockholm Syndrome, combined with the fact that Rem was erased, meaning the ONLY thing Ram would consider her priority was now Roswaal. I don’t doubt that she loved him back when Rem was around, however it’s only grown further and more fanatical with Rem having been erased…defo not a healthy love, even Roswaal showed his shock lol, but Ram is very prideful and would not care what anyone else may say, even if it’s a bad thing for her in the end. Oh, and Maylie and Elsa are more sibling-like rather than siblings. Still, hope yous enjoyed the episode! Almost the end now, hope yous enjoy the remaining episodes!
