You Spoke, We Listened

Hello everyone.

After listening to heavy criticism and deciding to follow the opinions of our fans and supporters. We have decided to U-turn on all plans for Vaulting older files. No changes will be made, and all files will remain.

While this does cause a huge problem for us financially, we will find other ways to manoeuvre through these tough times. Instead, we will offer more ways for you to support us. And if we fail, we'll go out with our dignity and legacy intact.

So you understand us a little more. Support has dwindled as more and more people move to AI. And as a creative team, we need to support our engineers financially or they won't be able to sustain there work here. We're on the verge of having to cease production and wrap up. That's the reality of things. This was just a test to see what things worked to increase membership. It's not about being a greedy business. Hundreds of hours go into our files every month, which just wouldn't be possible if our creative team had to get full-time jobs on the side. If we can't sustain ourselves financially, we can't put as much time into our craft.

You can really save some space by switching to a lossless audio format like FLAC instead of WAV. I've tested converting some of the WAV files to FLAC and found the results excellent.

If I'm being honest, I've been listening to this type of audio for a decade, and truthfully, despite some like DPE being of exceptional quality, it really does not live up to its advertised hype / expectation. I find more often than not I am ultimately disappointed when it doesn't work as advertised for me (yet again) despite how much I enjoy it. The carrot of "if you pay more it will be a greater result/ you'll have access to one that will REALLY work" is getting old. I'm just growing to the point where I don't think the genre, no matter how awesome the effects and recordings, actuality produces it's advertised results. My budget also can't afford higher than $50 and certainly not every month. It would take a lot of convincing for me to subscribe at a higher level or more consistently. If I experienced the amazing results promised (and trust me I've listened to nearly every file) I'd consider it. Right now, I'm thinking my groceries and my mortgage are more important.
