2024-02-07 01:18:36 +0000 UTCTo help explain a little without spoiling: 1) Yea like Dani said, the Witches and Archbishops are two entirely different things. Archbishops are members of the Witches Church (they worship all the witches). Witches are the actual witches from the story that had immense power. 2) There is only 1 Archbishop per Sin/Witch (sloth, greed, pride, gluttony, etc..) The only reason there were “multiple” sloths is because sloth had an ability that allowed him to take over others body who had the potential of becoming a bishop. They were all the same betelgeuse, just that he was controlling their body(just like he took control of Subaru because Subaru also has the potential of becoming an Archbishop). 3) The Archbishops seem like they are assigned a Sin, they dont just pick which Sin they want to represent. Look at Betelgeuse as an example, he never spoke about loving the Witch of Sloth at all but yet he was the Archbishop of Sloth. He seemed to like/worship wtv witch Subaru has. He also mentions that the only Sin position available when he met Subaru was the Sin of Pride. Not sure how they pick what Sin is given to what Archbishop doe 🤷♂️ Maybe Betelgeuse was just slothful so they made him the Archbishop of sloth 😂 Everything else you might have questions about will be answered this season 🤔
