2024-02-05 02:47:52 +0000 UTCColt is Colt in the same way Ikalgo is Ikalgo and not the prior person. They are different than Reina and Werefin who do remember their past selves. I think with Ikalgo and Leol their animal personalities actually had equal or more influence on their CA personalities. Colt also never attacked his village in the manga so that was actually the first time any of those villagers had ever seen CA. NGL people were really pro nature which is why they were so quickly accepting of the two.

2024-02-04 22:22:02 +0000 UTCThis arc is what cements HXH as the best Shonen for me. I love that the story doesn't treat Gon as some special character that the story revolves around. He's just a kid (with more talent than most sure) who's travelling the world looking for his Dad. If this was an other Shonen Gon would have been the one to defeat the King, hell Gon and the King don't even meet. What other Shonen is out there where your main character not only never meets your main villian, but the King doesn't even know that Gon exists, Gon saw the King leave the palace, but the King has never laid eyes on Gon. If this was some other show the author would have broken the laws of physics to get the main character to defeat the main villian.
