He just wrote the end in the book whenever that actually did something or the sleeve got stuck in the wheel at the moment by coincidence is up to your own imagination

2024-01-25 18:42:44 +0000 UTCIt’s just an example of what you want to hear in that moment is what your go to would be in trying to make another person feel the same way you felt when they needed it. Notice that Emilia doesn’t just accept it and admit love for him. She’s just surprised there is someone that feels that way about her. The same way Subaru felt when Rem said those things to him. Only difference for now is Subaru fell in love with Rem very quickly after that moment where as Emilia who doesn’t quite understand love like Subaru does will take a lot more time to even think of getting to that point. Saying that he took rems words that he rejected and used them to get Emilias love is wrong. He didn’t reject rems feelings or words, he literally loves her because of what she did for him there. That’s why he uses the same type of analogies. He felt accepted by those words and wanted Emilia to feel the same way even if it didn’t mean either of them would get an “I love you too” right after them.

Like the line "if you name ten things you hate about yourself, I'll say two thousand things I love about you".

2024-01-23 16:41:36 +0000 UTCOne nice thing about this show, is that it can be terribly depressing and fucked up at times, but it does have happy and triumphant moments for the characters. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and it makes the happy moments feel that much more sweet, knowing all the terrible hardships they have to overcome.
