I'm sure people already told you this, make sure to watch EP. 135 post credits.

Ikalgo and Palm wanted initially to use Komugi as a bargain exchange for Knuckle and Meleoron, but Palm learned as she watched Youpi die that the King was also gonna pass away soon (the reason hasn't been said yet but there are a few hints from two shots, but you'll know see enough). Learning that, Palm and Ikalgo changed their plan: They will now pretend to want to make the exchange of Komugi, but will actually drag things out as much as possible (which is why they hid Komugi) until the King dies. Why did Palm say that what they were doing was cruel? Because, as mentioned, they aren't planning on making Meruem meet Komugi even though they know that she's very important to him and that he's dying anyway. They're both thorn between following their duty and keeping their promise to Killua (Ant mentality to serve the human side), and showing compassion to Meruem by honoring a deal with him (human mentality to make honor with the Ant side). They both choose the former, and by that finally admitting that both human and ants are actually very much alike. The lines are blurred. UNTIL... Palm finally goes back on her words and declares that humans are actually much worse in the end. Why? Well, we can intellectually already guess the reason, but clearer answers will be given in case you haven't had that perspective yet. Anyway, I actually enjoy episode 133 way more than the usual favorite ones (except maybe 126), because it gives you such good pieces of analysis and philosophical thoughts regarding the Arc's themes that have been implemented since day 1. This Arc's conclusion, in every level, is fucking BEAUTIFUL, I can't wait for you to experience it.

135 is too long away

2 things: 1. Meruem's name means the light that illuminates all, Komugi is literally a blind girl that's never seen the light. Think about that. 2. In the manga, after we get Gyro's backstory, the narrator says that Gon will meet Gyro one day, it wasn't added into the anime because that hasn't happened in the manga yet.

Dry Lyo

For some reason the anime doesn't bring it up again but Gyro was turned into an Ant but never lost his memories and immediately left after being reborn
